Kofi Annan will soon be traveling to the region to deal with the "political aspects" of the ceasefire. What this means is that Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Hizballah believe they won the war, and see no reason to give up anything. Their demands will now be even more outrageous, and unless Israel is ready to give in to these demands, the chances of getting the two kidnapped soldiers back are not looking good.

It is obvious to any rational person that the purpose of the "new" UNIFIL force is to protect Hizballah and serve as an obstacle to Israel taking any effective action to defend itself without drawing even more condemnation from the world. The "rules of engagement" between UNIFIL and Hizballah are simple: don't ask, don't tell.

The two main reasons given for the introduction of an international force were to disarm Hizballah and to patrol the border with Lebanon border with Syria. The UN has now announced that the new UNIFIL force (now being called UNIFL TWO) will do neither. So what then, is the REAL purpose of this alleged force? Since the force has no mandate with any teeth, in reality it is merely a "presence" that serves as human shields for Hizballah. UNIFIL TWO is there to get in the way of any Israeli military response and draw condemnation down on Israel should any UNIFIL soldiers get injured in a war zone. I read at least three official UNIFIL reports of Hizballah mortars falling on UNIFIL positions, and of Hizballah fighters using UNIFIL outposts to shield their operations, but yet there was no world and media outcry similiar to the one that followed Israeli ordnance falling on a UNIFIL outpost with Hizballah fighters all around it.

Israel now stands alone in the world, with weak and corrupt leadership in charge of the ship of state. Israel's strongest friend in the world, the United States, can no longer be trusted because of its own descent into corruption, greed, and moral relativism.

The solution in both cases (Israel and the U.S.) is NOT political, but spiritual:

Jewish Theology indeed offers a way to see the cure of sin syndrome in terms of a return from illness to health, and as a passage from alienation from God to reconciliation with God. Sins can be found in several levels of seriousness, including heth, or unwitting sin, avon, or intentional sin, and peshah, outright rebellion against God.

Kofi Annan said today that, “It is generally accepted that the disarmament of Hezbollah cannot be done by force.”

"The troops are not going there to disarm Hezbollah, let’s be clear on that,” Annan told reporters.

Annan said all this was understood from the beginning, that this was an issue for the Lebanese Army, and that the disarming of Hizballah was a debate going on inside Lebanon before the conflict began.

Is this really the way the ceasefire deal was presented in the media as it was being worked out? What about UN Resolution 1559? Were we not told the purpose of UN 1701 was finally implement 1559, and that there would be no return to the status quo of Hizballah being a state within a state? Seems we were all misled by the scheming diplomats, and the REAL details of the deal are just now coming out. In fact, we were all lied to by the UN, and the United States, France, and Israel. They are all a bunch of liars.

Not wanting to be outdone by Annan in the popular sport of Israel bashing, the U.S. State Department Moslem lovers announced:

Well, all this lying and betraying was it for me. I will never put my trust in these snakes, these Erev Rav, ever again! From now on I will look to HaShem for my answers. G-d can deal with the U.S. for taking sides with the haters of the Jewish people and Israel, and G-d can deal with those Jews who collaborate with these anti-Moshiach forces of the nations.

But was this not all predicted in the Torah - that there would come such a time when the nations would rage against Israel and come up against her people? HaShem has gathered, HaShem has planted, and, at the appointed time according to His will, HaShem will reap...

Teshuvah, not politics, is the answer. It is the method for avoiding "navigational error."

14 that I will give the rain of your land in its season, the former rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

טו וְנָתַתִּי עֵשֶׂב בְּשָׂדְךָ, לִבְהֶמְתֶּךָ; וְאָכַלְתָּ, וְשָׂבָעְתָּ

15 And I will give grass in thy fields for thy cattle, and thou shalt eat and be satisfied.

טז הִשָּׁמְרוּ לָכֶם, פֶּן יִפְתֶּה לְבַבְכֶם; וְסַרְתֶּם, וַעֲבַדְתֶּם אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים, וְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶם, לָהֶם

16 Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

18 Therefore shall ye lay up these My words in your heart and in your soul; and ye shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.

יט וְלִמַּדְתֶּם אֹתָם אֶת-בְּנֵיכֶם, לְדַבֵּר בָּם, בְּשִׁבְתְּךָ בְּבֵיתֶךָ וּבְלֶכְתְּךָ בַדֶּרֶךְ, וּבְשָׁכְבְּךָ וּבְקוּמֶךָ

כג וְהוֹרִישׁ יְהוָה אֶת-כָּל-הַגּוֹיִם הָאֵלֶּה, מִלִּפְנֵיכֶם; וִירִשְׁתֶּם גּוֹיִם, גְּדֹלִים וַעֲצֻמִים מִכֶּם

23 then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

24 Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the hinder sea shall be your border.

26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:
כז אֶת-הַבְּרָכָה--אֲשֶׁר תִּשְׁמְעוּ, אֶל-מִצְו‍ֹת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם, אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי מְצַוֶּה אֶתְכֶם, הַיּוֹם

27 the blessing, if ye shall hearken unto the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day;

כח וְהַקְּלָלָה, אִם-לֹא תִשְׁמְעוּ אֶל-מִצְו‍ֹת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם, וְסַרְתֶּם מִן-הַדֶּרֶךְ, אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי מְצַוֶּה אֶתְכֶם הַיּוֹם: לָלֶכֶת, אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים--אֲשֶׁר לֹא-יְדַעְתֶּם

29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt set the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

ל הֲלֹא-הֵמָּה בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן, אַחֲרֵי דֶּרֶךְ מְבוֹא הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ, בְּאֶרֶץ הַכְּנַעֲנִי, הַיֹּשֵׁב בָּעֲרָבָה--מוּל, הַגִּלְגָּל, אֵצֶל, אֵלוֹנֵי מֹרֶה

30 Are they not beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites that dwell in the Arabah, over against Gilgal, beside the terebinths of Moreh?

לא כִּי אַתֶּם, עֹבְרִים אֶת-הַיַּרְדֵּן, לָבֹא לָרֶשֶׁת אֶת-הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר-יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם נֹתֵן לָכֶם; וִירִשְׁתֶּם אֹתָהּ, וִישַׁבְתֶּם-בָּהּ

31 For ye are to pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.

לב וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם לַעֲשׂוֹת, אֵת כָּל-הַחֻקִּים וְאֶת-הַמִּשְׁפָּטִים, אֲשֶׁר אָנֹכִי נֹתֵן לִפְנֵיכֶם, הַיּוֹם

32 And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and the ordinances which I set before you this day.
